Vendredi matin, le licenci\u00e9 de l\u2019AS Sarreguemines, reli\u00e9 par le poignet \u00e0 son guide Mathieu Leroux, \u00e9tait au d\u00e9part du 5 000 m\u00e8tres. 16 minutes et 47 secondes plus tard, le duo coupait la ligne d\u2019arriv\u00e9e. Apprenant le temps r\u00e9alis\u00e9, le coureur mosellan n\u2019en revenait pas : <strong>\u00ab Nous d\u00e9tenions au d\u00e9part le record de France (17&prime; 36\u00a0\u00bb), nous l\u2019explosons de 49 secondes, c\u2019est un truc de ouf. Beaucoup d\u2019enfants garnissaient les gradins. Ils nous ont encourag\u00e9 tout au long de notre course. C\u2019\u00e9tait une formidable ambiance \u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cette performance est de bon augure pour la prochaine course de Michel Munsch. Elle se disputera \u00e0 Auch, les 18 et 19 juin prochains \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du championnat de France. D\u00e9cid\u00e9ment en 2022, Michel Munsch et son guide n\u2019arr\u00eatent plus de bousculer les chronos. Apr\u00e8s celui du 1 500 m\u00e8tres indoor en f\u00e9vrier \u00e0 Bordeaux, 8 minutes de gagn\u00e9es sur leur record personnel au semi-Marathon de Paris d\u00e9but mars, c\u2019est celui du 5 000 m\u00e8tres qui est pass\u00e9, hier vendredi, de vie \u00e0 tr\u00e9pas.
